  • I'm a lover of Jesus, Starbucks, Instagram, the color yellow, "hippie music" as my husband calls it, BabyGap, chocolate, the shows What Not To Wear and Top Chef, beautiful light, white bedspreads, time with my family, vacations, giving gifts, lazy days, the smell of citrus, and ofcourse, taking pictures! I think happiness is a choice, life is an adventure, and it's important to always say "thank you" and "i love you". I'm a glass is full and overflowing kind of girl and am very sentimental. My parents have been married for 32 years and I'm so inspired by their lives. I can't cook, my husband can, and we're both free spirits.

    Trei and I met in college and have been happily married for 8 years now. Together we've made four of the most amazing and beautiful children. Lucas is 6, Olivia is 4, Madelyn is 2, and Grace joined our family on September 16th, 2012. Yes, we are crazy. No, we wouldn't have it any other way! Thank you for stopping by. Announcing a Beauty and Boudoir Marathon! | orange county boudoir photographer

what is a beauty and boudoir marathon you ask? first, you’ll spend an hour drinking mimosas and being pampered with professional hair and makeup by the amazingly talented sarah resnick. then, you’ll spend 45 minutes having beautiful photos taken. these photos do not have to be limited to lingerie! you can wear anything you want……white tee and sweats, your favorite cocktail dress. a bra and panties, or all of the above! what makes you feel beautiful? you make the call! the main point is to make you feel relaxed and gorgeous.

our baby girl

Our fourth (and final!) baby, a sweet girl, was born three weeks ago today.

Grace Katherine Vossler entered the world at 38 weeks weighing 10 pounds and 9 ounces (yes, you read that right!) and 21 inches long.

ofcourse, we can’t imagine life without her in it. Lucas, Olivia and Madelyn are absolutely in love – and enjoy smothering Gracie with kisses and hugs and they all fight over who gets to hold her.

I am so blessed to have four healthy and beautiful children, and am now excited to move out of baby growing, and into baby raising:)

nick and haven | orange county wedding photographer

this wedding is near and dear to my heart. haven is my cousin, so you can imagine my joy to have been able to fly to Raleigh, North Carolina to photograph her and Nick’s wedding day. it was an emotional day – witnessing ANY wedding is emotionally charged – but to be on a completely different coast, surrounded by my parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles and cousins (some of whom I haven’t seen in over 7 years!!) made the whole weekend so very special, and so very fulfilling! please enjoy these photos, as they a little more personal to me than normal.

shelly clark - I’m all teary eyed after looking at the beautiful photos, and remembering so many years ago when Doug and Denise led the College Class at COTW, and also of seeing your Grandma (who I swear never changes). Thanks for sharing the photos.

Judy Davis - For those of us who missed being at the wedding, this is such a treat! What gorgeous photos, Melissa, of a beautiful event. The bride and groom look so happy and all the guests like they are having a ball. Your mom looks great! I miss her so much!
